Tumbleweed, go on, tumble. The wind is your good company. The wind is your mover and shaker. It breathes life into you, lightens you, seduces you. Drift across this world, aimlessly. Live in such a way that you never bundle or hide, or plant your feet firmly on the ground. Resistance. Avoidance. Reluctance. These are not ways in which you find yourself. Openness. Freeness. Welcomeness. These are the ways in which you find yourself... and so much more.
You will find your people; the people that are out there in the world ready to change your life forever; change you forever. You will see things that will make you see the world with colors and light you never new existed. You will feel the sand between your toes on beaches you explored and rain on your face from new skies you stand beneath. You will hear trains in the distance and think of adventure and see birds in the sky and feel as free as they are. Tumbleweed, go on, Tumble.
You will hurt, tumble weed. You will hurt, and you will hurt other people. You will meet people that will make you feel like you want to dance all night and sing at the top of your lungs; hell you will probably even do these things with these people. But then they will hurt you. And as shitty as you will feel and as much as you will want to bundle and hide and plant your feet firmly on that ground beneath you, dont. Don't even a little bit. You will hurt, but you will find a piece of yourself.. and this piece of yourself encompasses such beauty, a beauty you never even knew you had in you. So beautiful tumbleweed, go on... tumble. Tumble through the hurt and pain and fear. Just keep going.
Your ways of thinking will change... and then change again. And maybe you might start dressing differently, or say weird things or eat food you never thought you would eat. You will fall in love and probably fall out of it. You will write and you will write like you have never written before; stories of every single affair you have had with the world... the tree you finished an entire book under, the coffee shop you met a stranger and talked for three hours at, the lifelong friend you found in complete spontaneity. Openness. Freeness. Welcomeness. These are the ways in which you find yourself. These are the ways in which you come to love yourself.
Tumbleweed, go on.
